Kestrel™ Pan & Tilt Unit with built in Thermal and vision camera

nav-comm launches Kestrel™  it’s new Day/Night high speed Pan and tilt Camera. Kestrel™  is a continuous rotation "ruggerdised" encased system, sealed to IP67 and designed to be installed in harsh and challenging environments Partnering with a existing manufacturer of CCTV for buildings. nav-comm have taken the system case and have internally adapted the inside of this camera for a UK Police vehicle or military vehicle. Or areas where the camera unit may be liable to experience physical abuse as well as possible projectile attack. A government installation.
The optically flat glass is distortion free giving brighter clearer images at higher zoom ranges thus again allowing more flexible installations in adverse environments.
Kestrel™  has been cast from aluminium, hard anodised and powder coated to protect from scratching, oxidation or attack from solvents, making it vandal resistant and suitable for most deployments. The replaceable front glass window is also toughened and has a wiper which is used to clear any dirt and water. It has been designed to take substantial impacts from thrown objects or interference
