Only 6cm in height for Din mount
Kojak is approximately a third smaller in height but 3 times wider. This means that the beacon is less likely to be knocked of a vehicle by overhanging branches or less likely to be damaged by drivers to realising the extra height of a vehicle.
The extra width means aerials or other obstacles are less likely to block the view of the beacon.
