Photometric

The Photometric laboratory work closely with the other divisions forming another strong nav-comm team player.

The Design centre, Plastics Division and electronics design divisions all benefiting and allowing for cost effective products and production capable solutions.

All lighting systems are also checked by the Photometric laboratory regularly so as to ensure conformity of all illuminating nav-comm products.

Customer actual requirements can also be fulfilled with visits to the laboratory showing customers how and what can and is produced.

Using ray trace CAD packages testing of actual optics manufactured is fast and efficient. The latest in house Rapid Production Equipment can then be tasked to create the plastic products quickly for proofing of concept and optical design.

Capabilities include:

Measurement of light systems up to 25meters from a target can be taken
Irradiance measurements
luminance measurements
Frequency of light patterns
Spectrum analysis of the luminescence and colour of a product
Analysis of light within the visible colour spectrum
Analysis of light up to 1100nm of the invisible spectrum
Analysis of UNEC Regulations R65, R6, R7 being the most common
