Normally the only camera you would have fitted to your car would be a single reversing camera however customers such as North West Ambulance Service who we fit and maintain their navigation systems required us to fit a reversing camera and a second camera to the inside of the rear saloon for driver and passenger safety with the image being shown through the navigation screen and also integrate various control systems so when the driver was talking to the rear saloon crew the camera would automatically witch over whilst the driver could still continue to navigate. This was achieved . We now fit this same type of system to prison vans to monitor prisoners in transit.
