Optical Superiority

nav-comm engineers have developed a unique beam pattern for the Eclipse LED light pods. 3 crafted optical lenses are used to project light where it is needed most. A High intensity central narrow beam flanked by two wide angle beams. This increases the visibility at junctions. The rear protection visibility is vastly improved when the Emergency vehicle is parked at an angle.
Unlike traditional light sources, LED's radiate a narrow, colour-specific wavelength of light. This light requires no colour filtering or tinted lenses, so none of the emitted light is wasted and it's capable of being seen at great distances in poor or foggy weather.

Flexibility
nav-comm lights provide cutting-edge flexibility to the user. Our LED pods are easily interchangeable, providing ease of service and colour options. This gives every customer an unique light bar and one that fully suits his or her exact lighting needs. A pattern programmer and tester is also available for changes by customer.

Efficiency
LED's produce more candle power per watt of energy than any other lighting technology used on emergency vehicles such as strobes or halogen. This means a far lower electrical power demand upon an emergency vehicle, giving you the freedom to let your lights run without running your engine or having to reduce the number of lights operating. An added safety feature: Because of their effective energy handling, LED products don’t emit the relatively high amounts of radiated heat that strobes and halogen bulbs do and don't require heavy power cables.

Reliability
nav-comm LED pods give many years of trouble-free service in all kinds of weather conditions. The repair and installation of lighting systems is costly, both in money and the "down" time. Our new pod solution will considerably reduce that wasted time and money since they require no large and heavy power packs. Damaged pods can quickly and easily be changed without a complete strip down of the bar or stick.

Durability
nav-comm pods are extraordinarily rugged, taking abuse to which no strobe or halogen could stand up. In addition, each LED pod is individually waterproof for added toughness. The Eclipse LED system will outlast your vehicle and may allow for multiple vehicle life installations.

Cost of Ownership

Eclipse lighting bars have a low drag coefficient factor. Vehicle fuel is saved and the speed of the emergency vehicle is not drastically reduced either. Fast turn around of damaged lenses. Multiple chassis installations.
